"Beauty from Ashes" is a reminder that God can take the messiest, most broken parts of our lives and turn them into something purposeful and beautiful. What once seemed dead and forgotten can be revived, restored, and renewed.
Materials & Techniques
Paint: Acrylic
Surface: 9x12” heavyweight acid-free art paper
Tools: Flat paint brush, tin foil (used to apply texture)
Technique: I used crumpled tin foil to layer and lift paint in uneven patterns.

More than just a custom shoe, Beauty from Ashes is a statement of hope—a reminder that even in the most broken or burnt-out places, something bold and beautiful can emerge. It reflects the truth that God can bring beauty out of the darkest seasons of life.
These shoes feature a lightweight polyester canvas upper, a flexible rubber sole, and a removable insole for comfort. Designed for everyday wear, they’re available with black or white soles and matching laces.
The photos show how this design came to life—a reminder that even in hard seasons, beauty can rise. Every step reflects the heart of walking by faith.
Backpacks: Real Experience, New Ideas
The design shown here is a mockup—but I’ve actually tested my artwork on a backpack before (just with a different design). The final product came out super close to the mockup, so I know this style works well on that material and shape.
