Traumatic Brain Injury Recovery: Finding Strength in the Impossible Through Faith

Philippians 4:13 “For I could do all things through Him who strengthens me”

This was my reality.

Philippians 4:13 — “I can do all things through Him who strengthens me.”

At the time, I didn’t believe it.

I had nothing left. Everything I once knew about myself was gone.

But in my frustration, I made a decision—I would test it.

Not because I had faith, but because I didn’t know what else to do.

Slowly, I began working with therapists again. Painful. Exhausting. Humiliating at times.

But something began to shift.

Not all at once but gradually.

Movement returned. Strength returned. Hope returned.

And for the first time, I began to believe that maybe God hadn’t left me—but was rebuilding me.

It was the first time faith became real, not theoretical.

I began to understand strength in a completely different way.

Recovery didn’t end there—it slowly became a return to life I never thought I’d re-enter.
